Larger Frogs

Clay sags from its own weight if a piece becomes too large. This is why larger frogs need an interior support structure and need to be done over a period of time. I try to satisfy this need while not sacrificing the spontaneity of the feelings involved in the creative process. And these larger frogs give me a great "canvas" for exploring the textural possibilities of clay.
