Talk to Me

  • I received my BA in Art Education from Cal State U. Northridge in 1972, my MA in Design (Fiber Sculpture) from Cal State U. San Francisco, in 1974.
  • I worked as a typesetter and graphic designer, then managed a type department for an offset press printer in San Francisco for 5 years (where I met my husband).
  • In 1978 I married, had two children, and became totally immersed in child-rearing and school/community activities.
  • 1989 I reentered the art world through Indian Valley Colleges art classes.
  • 1991 I helped found Indian Valley Artists of Novato and became a community art advocate.
  • 1996 I joined the Novato Civic Art Commission and became one of the champions of the Novato Art Center at Hamilton Field as well as bringing public art to the downtown of Novato.
  • 1989 to present. I have been in many exhibits and competitions and have displayed and sold my ceramic critters throughout the country. Currently they can be seen in the Discovery Channel Stores in Washington D.C. and at the Metrion in San Francisco.

The croak of some horned frogs sounds like the moo of a cow.
