Hide-A-Frogs
This is a sampling of my collection of very expressionistic, quickly executed critters; hollow and open in structure, designed to cover or hide things (hence the name), or just be who they are.
Unglazed - different colors of unglazed clay fired to medium range (2194 °F), in Sandstone Buff (warm toasted brown), Cassias Basalt (black), and Terracotta (warm red-brown).
Glazed - Translucent Icelic Porcelain (bright white) and a sculpture mix (warm creamy white), glazed with stains and mid-range glazes, both fired to (2151 °F) or (2194 °F) depending on the variety of glazes I use.
